About
Danai Anagnostou is a creative producer for film and artists' moving images, and a doctoral researcher in production studies. In 2019, she co-founded Kenno Filmi, a production company in Helsinki that hosts projects by international filmmakers, artists and researchers. She studies film collectives and their influence on contemporary conduct and strategies for producing films at Aalto University's Critical Cinema Lab.

Skarpnabba (drama) - Directed by Sawandi Groskind, in advanced development. Premiere planned for 2026. A mesmerizing odyssey to unravel the intricacies of existence, where extraordinary lives converge.
Stretching (documentary) - Directed by Martta Tuomaala, in early development. Premiere planned for 2027. Martta begins to attend exercise classes again. The invisible work of personal trainers comes to her attention.
Ederlezi (short fiction) - Directed by Carmen Baltzar. Premiere planned for 2025. Short fiction. Ederlezi dives into the perspective of young Roma sisters selling toys on a touristic beach.
Crocodile Seeds (documentary / experimental) - Directed by Lucy Davis. Premiere planned for 2025. Seeds is an artistic research project that explores a 130-year-old dead crocodile, its history, and its contents.
Novus Mundus - New Promises (hybrid) - Novus Mundus-Old Promises is a creative documentary structured as a fable. It explores the adventures of a group of pigs and petrol pumpjack machines in Ologá, an isolated village of 180 people.
