Franziska Sonder was a participant of the German-French Masterclass Ludwigsburg-Paris, Ex Oriente 2015, Eurodoc 2018 and the Rotterdam Lab in 2019. She co-funded Ensemble Film based in Zurich. The company focuses on documentary films with an authorial signature, powerfully narrated, that can provide deep insights into the subject and have the ability to move the audience strongly. The latest short doc The Game premiered at the 77th Venice International Film Festival in 2020. The 360 degree documentary Caves premiered at the 78th Venice International Film Festival in 2021.
