Rūta is a Lithuanian film producer who has worked in the industry since 2009 and runs Baltic Productions, based in Vilnius. She has produced art-house films by local and foreign directors with the main focus on creative documentaries. Working as a producer in Lithuania, a small country, she has tried to strengthen various aspects of the industry – Rūta initiated a film education project for schools, Film Dialogue, and an online tool, Film in Lithuania.
